General Education Requirements

CHE 1101 - CHE 1110 and CHE 1102- CHE 1120fulfill the Science Inquiry. MAT 1110 fulfills the Quantitative Literacy requirement.

Biology Major Requirements (69 Hours)

Not including 12 hours counted in General Education

2.0 major GPA is required for graduation. Major GPA calculation will include all courses taken in the major discipline, plus any other courses under Major Requirements. Minimum of 18 semester hours of courses taken to fulfill major requirements must be courses offered by Appalachian.

Courses may only meet one requirement. If a course is chosen in one area, it may not be used in another (e.g. If BIO 2410was chosen for lab course in the Required Biology courses above, it cannot be applied in the Integrative Biology Concentration below).
