Tues May 14, 2024: Jason and Anna try to turn Carly’s mistake to their advantage, Nina tells Ava their friendship is over, and Alexis and Gregory have a heart to heart.
Monday’s GH recap: Anna was furious Carly tipped off Brennan, and Trina was upset Laura was looking into Heather’s case.
Jason finds Anna waiting for him in his office.
She says that they have trouble.
Carly may have blown the entire operation and could end up in prison.
She fills him in on Carly tipping off Brennan. He will reach out to the WSB to stop the investigation.
Anna thinks that if they can find out who he reaches out in Pikeman, they can use it to their advantage.
She’ll keep an eye on him at Pentonville and is still digging into Valentin. She needs to find out how involved he is.
They decide not to tell Jagger anything until they have to.
After she leaves, Danny shows up.
Jason reminds him this area is dangerous.
His son says Yuri is outside and explains he’s there to deliver a message from Monica.
She’ll be in bed until summer because of her pneumonia.
She needs Jason to represent her at BLQ’s wedding.
After thinking it over for a second, Jason agrees.
He can’t argue with Monica and offers him a ride home.
At the Metro Court, Valentin has to pay extra to get some decent wine.
He’s hoping to reconnect with an old flame.
Clement the pharmacist calls to say that their deal is off.
Sonny’s wife is onto them.
She knows he’s not on the full dose of his meds.
Valentin points out she didn’t go to the authorities and is not his wife.
The Cassadine orders him to keep doing what they agreed upon while he figures out which blonde in Sonny’s life visited him.
Spotting Nina, he walks over and chats with her, asking if she’s reconciled with Sonny.
She assures him they are done and Ava is worming her way in.
He smiles as she takes off.
He has a drink and waits for Anna.
When she arrives, he cranks up the charm.
They vaguely talk about her work and Dex joining the force.
She urged him to do it to redeem himself.
Valentin thinks he could hardly find a better mentor if he’s looking for redemption.
When he claims he has crippling self-doubt, she suggests he has the opposite. He doesn’t think much of self-reflection.
They recall his past and his regrets. His daughter made him want to be better and he doesn’t think it’s possible to completely close the door on the past.
He compartmentalizes.
She agrees to see him again and he offers to cook for her.

Nina corners Ava in the gallery, who tells her the joint is closed.
Nina pushes her about angling for a spot in Crimson on one of her artists.
She doesn’t like that she went behind her back to do it.
Ava claims she thought she would cancel it if she thought it came from her.
Nina admits that Ava deserves some payback for what happened with Sonny.
The Jerome says the breakup was all her own fault.
“I have finally accepted that we’re over for good,” says Nina.
Ava is sure she’s not fine with that but her former friend claims she’s accepted the reality.
Ava doesn’t think she’s evolved. She’s vindictive and doesn’t change.
Nina claims she’s trying to be better and reminds Ava that she tried and failed at that once.
She makes it clear that they are no longer friends.
“I hope it was worth it,” Nina says.
Jagger shows up and Nina introduces herself to him, making a barb about catching him with Carly and warning him about Ava before exiting.
Ava tells him it’s been a long day. He’s there about Sonny and it can’t wait.
He quizzes her about Sonny’s business and reminds her she was mobbed up until recently.
He wonders what her endgame is and if she’s planning to walk away with the Corinthos organization.
Getting offended, she claims she’s only interested in co-parenting and he puts her on notice.
She’s a person of interest to the FBI now.
Ava doesn’t thinks he would dare to put her under surveillance.
He already has and lists off all she did today.
At Finn’s, Alexis reads her pitch for reinstatement to the bar to Gregory, who is clearly distracted by a picture of the rehearsal dinner.
She checks them out and assures him that she’s not there to babysit him.
She says his sons just want him to be okay and not trespass on his autonomy.
He guesses that Finn told her about their fight and admits he was frustrated and lashed out.
She reminds him that he’s under a lot of stress and suggests he show himself some grace.
Alexis tells him she hasn’t been a perfect mother and explains her issues with Kristina when she came out.
He’s sorry to hear about all that but she claims she turned it around and learned from it.
She tells him just to apologize to his son. It’s nice to see he’s not a saint.
Gregory thought he was past all the anger he had for his son. She’s sure that Finn will understand and they can move on.
The only thing that matters is that they love each other.
He jokes she would make a great lawyer.
They get back to reading her statement.
He thinks it’s good but she needs some luck and hands her his good luck charm.
He thinks no one deserves a win more than her.
She gives him a peck.
In Drew’s office, he tells Jordan about the plans to transform the waterfront.
They hope it will alter the perception of the city as a haven for organized crime.
She doesn’t think the proposal is big enough and explains what they need to do.
She suggests connecting the site to light rail and that means they can get more federal and state grants.
They can also open the ferry to Toronto.
He’s impressed.
Congressman McConkey walks in and jokes with Jordan about the last time he saw her.
She thanks him for getting behind the esplanade proposal and exits.
Drew is eager to show him the plans but the congressman asks why he should get into bed with a convicted criminal.
Drew wanted him to fall in love with the project before letting him know about that and offers to step away if his name being involved is an issue.
McConkey points out that being a criminal doesn’t keep you out of politics and he wants someone to step into his shoes after he dies.
Drew doesn’t think he has the pedigree for politics but the congressman keep pitching it.
He offers to help him get elected.
Who could resist a dying man’s wishes?
Drew is flattered but not sure.
McConkey tells him he could do some great things, especially if changed his name to Quartermaine.
